I recently got myself contacts again for the first time in too long, so I spoiled myself with some inexpensive sunglasses a few weeks ago. I've been wearing these daily as of about 2 weeks and for the price and look of these shades, I definitely plan on buying a few backup pair. They're a good size and flattering shape. They're not Nicole Richie giant sunglasses big, but they're also not mad scientist tiny. My head is on the bigger side (my brother had to have a helmet special ordered for him when he joined the military... thanks, dad), so finding round and/or cat-eye frames that don't look absolutely absurd on me is a challenge. The only downside I can foresee is that the frames are made of metal and, being thin, are fairly flexible. This makes adjusting the nose pieces and arms easy, but I'm afraid that after a while, these will begin to wear. That said, I've never really purchased a pair of frames (sunglasses or otherwise) that didn't eventually fall to pieces or get lost. I also noticed that the overall look is a little darker than what is pictured. The metal is a darker grey and the lenses are almost a greenish black. Still, these are fantastic and I love the look. As far as sun protection, they do the job well. They're not like cheap lenses which only darken everything and make it impossible to see if you're walking toward bright light, but they're also not like a pair of Ray-Ban that simply put the entire world in more tolerable lighting and you never want to take them off. They're just good, practical quality with a stylish look.
