I haul my truck camper on a flatbed F550 so the bed is really much higher that a regular pickup. This resulted in my having to extend the happijaks to their limit, and in wind weather when loading/unloading, things got really hinky. Using these helps a bit by keeping the jaks from being over extended. I wonder if they make a 12" one?
