This is an attractive chair, however there are some problems with it and I did have to return it. The seat is very narrow and tends to throw you forward. The order was missing a washer...no big deal. The instructions didn't include how to work the up and down mechanism and more importantly didn't explain how to disassemble the chair so to return it ( I did remove the seat) I had to get a bigger box and of course Amazon made the return as easy as they could and all I lost was a little time. Also please be aware of the fact that the base is quite large, very stable, but very bright chrome and that makes the seat look even smaller. I wish this had worked out for me. Thanks Amazon for your help with my return.The seat is too short, you feel like you are falling forward. The pneumatic device doesn't hold your wait, so the chair sinks down when you sit on it. I would like to return these items, but once you put together the pneumatic device, you can't get it apart. So, I have to figure out how I can return them without taking them apart.Good quality for the money but not the most comfortable chair.Quality chair, looks good and I assembled it in about 3 minutes.it brokeBeautifulThey're lovely. looks exactly like in the picture.
