First of all I will say I didn't end up getting this on Amazon, because when the one they tried to ship was damaged in shipping, they took it back before it ever got to my house. Refunded promptly - Amazon did their end right. Good on 'em.My review is about the manufacturer/distributor who cannot seem to understand that when you ship a table with protruding corners in a box, you have to armor those corners and that box with additional protection. Two of the table corners were damaged (all four were scuffed) in shipping (read: crushed) and were I not using this as a base for an epoxy pour tabletop, the retailer and I would be trying to sort returning a damaged banquet table.Don't get me wrong, this is otherwise a fine table. The hardware and legs are good, thick wall tube steel, and the finish is perfect. The surface of the table is well finished and there is at least a single layer of polyurethane sprayed on. The bolt caps all sit mostly flush with the table surface, and as a desk, which is my intended use for it, I think it's a perfect fit.They just gotta pack it better.Love em. Can be made into an S shape or circular table.Wonderful table, not packed so well for shipping though.It arrived but one corner had gotten dinged in shipping. It's something I can live with. I didn't want the hassle of sending it back. I have done mitigation steps / workaround. The table itself is good looking, gorgeous even for it's intended purpose: A classy, well constructed, utility work table.I use this so I can sit in the corner and actually SEE my family while I putter and do office work - rather than have my back to them. It supports a 24" Viewsonic LCD monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers just fine. I have had no tip over incidents, no "close calls" either. If you have young ones, and want to put a large monitor or piece of equipment, that might be a consideration however.Really I wanted to give this 4 stars due to the poor packaging but the actual product deserves 5 stars. Just realize that if you are fastidious and it arrives dinged or damaged, you'll probably have the hassle of returning it.Both tables arrived in the wrong color and were chipped. But good tables.GOOD Serpentine table. Had a hard time finding the fitted covers for this table. Finally found the company that makes the fitted tablecloths for these tables and they are, look fantastic. The company for the fitted table covers for this table is Premier Table LinensIt proved to be exactly what I needed. The vendor was great and very responsive when a small problem with the order arose. Would definitely do biz with them again.this item came damaged
