Flash Furniture Contemporary Red Vinyl Adjustable Height Bar Stool - Vertical Stitch Panel Back & Chrome Base - Perfect for Home Bars, Kitchen Islands & Modern Dining Areas

We bought these in Dec. of 2016 for a newly remodeled kitchen bar. The color was perfect and assembly was fairly easy, though it's a two-person job. PROS: Fun color, height adjusts easily, very comfortable to sit in. CONS: The quality is on the lower side of so-so and declines quickly. Our kids were 11 and 8 when we purchased these, and last year our toddler nephew became a weekly guest. I suspect the little guy contributed the most to the decline of these - the fabric underneath is the chairs is stapled in and loosens over time. Little exploring hands can yank it easily, along with the plastic tubing that lines the edges. Constant use cracked the plastic o-ring base of one making for an extremely creaky chair; I also had to replace a few screws/bolts that had popped out of the chair bottom from too much kid leaning back. The vinyl itself began to show wear & tear earlier this year, and the chrome got spotty early on. OVERALL: Despite the issues, I have to say we all really enjoy sitting in these. They looked great new, they're really comfortable to sit in, and we'll likely just order another set when the creaking/tearing/falling apart becomes too much.Love the stool just wish they would have connected the back and seat like other models I purchased. Very nice looking stool I would purchase more it took two people to put it together one has to hold it and the other has to hold it and put the screws in for the seat everything else was easy.I love the chairs, however they did not arrive I time and they didn't work. I had to order replacement cylinders for them. They did sip right away, I have to switch then and see if they will go up and down.I never did get the back on this stool, totallyimpossible. Poor construction, I use it withoutthe back and it's not too comfortable.The seat doesn't adjust to the height listed, fingerprints up easily and when seated, its difficult to adjust upwards.I love the color and design. I wish it was a little more comfortable to sit in.The adjustment didn't work. Disappointed. Don't have the energy to ship it back.Chair came in a very large box where it had a lot of space for it to move around a lot. The base had several scratches on the base. This was a last minute Christmas present that I couldnt return in time. Just kinda disappointed.
