Despite being a "church chair" the color ties in well with our decor and it doesn't look odd to have out. I am considering purchasing the 4-pack for when we have larger gatherings. The chair comfortably fits both our taller 6+ foot guests, and smaller ones at 5'5". It's sometimes used for six or more hours in one day, and remains relatively comfortable.The chair has a nice width to it. It is very comfortable to sit in with your legs spread apart. It doesn't feel like you're hanging off the sides. The tapered front (I believe it's what they refer to as a "waterfall seat") is fantastic for not digging into the veins on the back of the leg, which is fantastic for keeping your legs from falling asleep after hours of sitting. As I'm not particularly thin, the deep cushioning is very appreciated and comfortable.Installation was very easy. I got one other person to help me assemble it, and it only took a few minutes with a drill/screw gun if I am remembering correctly. It probably would be doable with only one person, but like with all assembled furniture, everything's easier with an extra set of hands. My biggest recommendation would be in the installation of the seat back, have the bottom of the seat back flush with the bottom of the lower bar you're screwing it onto. The picture shows the back extending about 1.5 inches beneath the bar, but if it is higher you get more back support. If in doubt, sit in the chair with the back unattached, and see what it feels like at both heights.[UPDATE 10/14/2019]I went and purchased four additional chairs, they all arrived promptly. The two smaller screws were missing on 3/4 of the chairs, however I contacted the company and they immediately got back to me. Amazon scuffed up one of the chair backs, but hopefully it will not be too visible. Again, the chairs went together effortlessly with two people. I sat in the seat and used my hands to hold the back in place, and my spouse quickly put the large screws in on both sides. I'm very happy with my purchase and am looking forward to the next occasion when we get to use them.We needed a very comfortable and sturdy chair for our home. This is just perfect! Love the color and the sturdy metal frame. I put it together in just 15 minutes. Also has the nice feature of being stackable. Very nice chair - would recommend this chair to anyone.This chair is fantastic. First, I have to comment about the shipping--it was like lightning! I ordered on Friday and received it on Saturday--the next day! With free shipping! That is incredible.The chair itself came in a very large, somewhat awkward box. It is light and easy to carry. Yes, it does require assembly--you must screw the back of the seat onto the legs. This is very simple to do--I had another person help me and it took two minutes, tops, using an electric drill. If you are by yourself and using a manual screwdriver, it might take you about ten minutes to put together. No big deal.The chair is so comfortable. The seat's padding is very thick and sturdy--it doesn't sink down when you sit on it. The back is at a very comfortable angle to rest against and also has a nice layer of padding. The seat is wide and the padding at the front is higher than in the back, which is good--it helps take pressure off your legs and eliminate them pulling on your back muscles.As an aside, I purchased this chair to replace a computer chair for my home office desk. I spend a lot of time at my desk, and the chair I had was less than comfortable, but I put up with it. However, about three months ago I was diagnosed with piriformis syndrome, a very [VERY] painful inflammatory condition of the piriformis muscle in your backside. My doctor said it was probably due to sitting so much in my old chair, because my old chair was really narrow and sort of forced my legs and hips into an unnatural and uncomfortable position. I went to physical therapy, used muscle relaxers, did stretching exercises, used a TENS unit, had cortisone injections--and still suffered from pain. I got this chair, and my pain has been largely alleviated! I am really, really happy about that. I think it's because it provides so much support and the seat is wide enough that my hips are at their natural width when sitting now.Five stars for this great chair, and at such a great price! I am seriously considering ordering one to use as an office chair at work.[And yes, I have noticed people complaining about the smell. My chair did have a bit of an odd, plasticky smell when I first got it out of the box, but after sitting in the open air for a little while the smell has largely disappeared.]Firstly wounded...don't have the chair anymore darn movers left it out in the cold.Now the actual review, I am a big man large fellow loved the chair wife was kind enough to get me this after bending and bowing out some little folding chairs. Seat cushion withstood hours of me sitting on my hump doing work from home/comp browsing/review writing. (wink wink) I could stand up get a drink or refill the ice in my water mug and the seat cushion would rise back to it's natural height and be ready for rounds 2 3 or 7 lolWarning some assembly is required, the tools for it are not in the package, you need a drill I'm no handiman but I got it together in about 25m with a youtube video for help on which bits and bobs to use. HOWEVER, prior to putting it together I simply let the chair back lay against the upright posts (you drill it into) and used the chair this lazy but comfortable way for 3 months.All in all, it was a beautiful chair and even though I've lost 114lbs and no longer need a big and tall chair, I cannot help but to want the comfort of this chair again the wide base and no wheels always appeal to me, good luck with your purchase!when it arrived all, we had to do was screw in the back part, which was very easy to do and after trying it for a day or so it seems very sturdy and comfortable, would buy another when i can afford it.This chair is amasing. I'm a big guy, so me and chairs don't get along. But with this one, not a creek or noise to be heard. And comfortable! This waterfall seatcushioning allows for even a "fat" guy like myself to get comfortable for a whole UFC or a couple of fliks. Can't speak for endurance of cushion or fabrick (only had chair 6 weeks), but it feels rugged. If you don't care about brand names and pricetags, this has got all but a few of the "ultra delux" beat. ;=)
