A little pricey compared to the more traditional speedlight brackets (of which I have 5) but if you are anything more than a learning hobbyist, it is absolutely worth it.These things are built like tanks and offer fantastic fine adjustment.Where there would be a ratcheting mechanism on cheaper brackets, this model uses a composite washer and metal joint not too dissimilar to what you'd find on the knuckle of a $200 C-stand and I'd say that this secures with much less tightening down thanks to that special washer. You have absolute control of the angle your light is at.The Bowens mount part of this bracket is made of quality plastic and the entire bottom is made of aluminum unlike the cheaper brackets that are rather prone to breaking. This feels like an actual professional tool, unlike the ~$15 options. The only complaint I have about this bracket are:-That the stand coupling part is drilled rather deep. This is designed as a feature so that one could attach the bracket at a right angle to the light stand but I'm not sure how many people will actually use it. The downside to this is it takes me an extra second to put on my light stand, careful I don't over-shoot the recessed collar of my stand.-The umbrella holder on this bracket is friction-only. This makes setting up and tearing down faster but a windy day will give you trouble.I initially only bought one of these after a few cheap brackets broke on me but having used this new one on ~20 shoots over a few months, I just put in an order for 4 more. Seriously, if you use off-camera lighting at all regularly, buy these.
